Generations Linked in Love - April 2010

by Russell M. Nelson
April 2010 General Conference

"We are exalted when we can dwell together with our extended families in the presence of Almighty God. The Prophet Joseph Smith foresaw our duty: “The great day of the Lord is at hand …, ” he said. “Let us, therefore, as a church and a people, and as Latter‑day Saints, offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness; and let us present in his holy temple … a book containing the records of our dead, which shall be worthy of all acceptation.”

Roots and Branches - April 2004

Roots and Branches
by Russell M. Nelson
April 2004 General Conference

We came to this mortal experience to acquire a body, to be tried and tested. We are to form families and be sealed in holy temples, with joy and loving relationships that endure eternally. To these everlasting truths, we are personally rooted.

Branches of our families and of the gospel bear fruit to enrich our lives. God’s work and His glory—“to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man”—can become ours. We can dwell with Him and with our families forever. Those blessings will be granted to the faithful in His own way and time.

Family History and Temple Work: Sealing and Healing

Being in the Primary, I haven't been able to attend Elders Quorum regularly, but I do get a weekly email from our EQ President with the lesson topic.  It is a nice way to stay connected and be able to have something to study each week.

This week it is the talk "Family History and Temple Work: Sealing and Healing" by By Elder Dale G. Renlund.
